1) Operator and subject matter
Daily World Puzzle (the “App”) is a personal sliding-puzzle application with an optional daily World Puzzle and related story content. It is operated by an independent developer (the “Operator”). These Terms govern your use of the App and related services (including cloud sync, entitlements, and this website).
2) License
The Operator grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable licence to install and use the App in accordance with these Terms and the rules of the app stores (Google Play, and Apple App Store if published).
3) Intellectual property
The App name, branding, UI, code, curated images, World Puzzle editorial content, and documentation are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, redistribute, scrape, reverse engineer, or circumvent technical protections except where mandatory law allows. Catalog and World Puzzle images remain licensed for in-app use; full master downloads (when entitled) are for your personal, non-commercial use unless we state otherwise.
4) Accounts, Free Trial, and Premium
- Some features require sign-in and/or an active Free Trial or Premium entitlement.
- Subscriptions and trials are billed by Google Play (or Apple) and managed with RevenueCat.
- Full-resolution downloads require a paid Premium subscription (not available during Free Trial). Free catalog limits are described in the App and may change with notice.
- Refunds follow the store’s policies.
5) Acceptable use
You agree not to abuse the service (for example automated scraping of masters, sharing signed download URLs publicly, attacking infrastructure, or impersonating others). We may suspend access that harms the service or other users.
6) Scores, nicknames, leagues, and Inspiration
- Public Day / Week / Month scorelists and catalog leaderboards may show your nickname and scores. Choose a respectful nickname.
- Private leagues are for invited friends only; do not share invite codes widely if you want them to stay private.
- Inspiration is a free virtual currency with no real-world cash value. It can be earned and spent only inside the App under rules we may adjust.
7) Content disclaimer
World Puzzle stories and catalog captions are editorial / educational entertainment. They are not medical, legal, or investment advice. Historical or news-related themes may be sensitive; we aim for balanced, respectful coverage.
8) Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Operator is not liable for indirect damages, lost profits, data loss, or interruption related to your use of the App. You use the App at your own risk. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot be waived under consumer protection law.
9) Privacy
Personal data is handled under the Privacy Policy. Account deletion instructions: Delete account.
10) Changes
We may update these Terms. The latest wording on this page applies. Material changes may be highlighted in the App. Continued use after publication constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
